On-device AI attention & digital-wellbeing tracker
FocusIQ — Understand where your attention goes.
FocusIQ watches how you actually browse — not just which sites, but what you're doing on them — and turns it into a daily attention score, a visual timeline, a weekly heatmap, and a plain-English daily reflection. No timers to start, no manual tagging, no categorizing websites by hand: an on-device AI model classifies each visit by meaning the moment it happens, and nothing about your browsing history ever leaves your machine.
Observes which tabs you visit, for how long, and classifies the kind of activity — building a private daily attention timeline and score entirely on your device.
A typical cloud-based screen-time or productivity tracker uploads your entire browsing history — every site, every page title, how long you spent on each — to a third-party server just to compute a daily score.
Who it's for
The kinds of moments FocusIQ was actually built around.
Developers & knowledge workers
Seeing that a "coding" afternoon was actually 40% Stack Overflow research and 25% Slack, without having to reconstruct it from memory at 6pm.
Students & lifelong learners
Watching a weekly heatmap confirm that 9-11am study blocks consistently outperform late-night ones, instead of guessing at their own best hours.
Founders & remote workers
Getting a daily reflection that separates real research from doomscrolling, on a day that felt productive but wasn’t.
Writers & creators
Noticing, via theme detection, that three straight weeks of "research" browsing were quietly about one specific topic worth turning into actual work.
Features
What FocusIQ actually does, in depth.
Passive, continuous tracking
No timers, sessions, or manual tagging — FocusIQ observes normal browsing in the background and classifies it automatically, the moment it happens.
AI intent classification
Understands what a page is actually for — "Building a React app" reads as Development, "Best gaming moments" reads as Entertainment — instead of judging by domain alone.
Real-time attention sidebar
A live breakdown of today’s time by category, plus your current focus topic and a one-line description of what you’re doing right now.
Daily Attention Score & timeline
A 0-100 composite score — focused work, learning, context switching, distraction, goal alignment — with an explanation and your highest-focus window of the day, laid out as a visual timeline.
Weekly attention heatmap
A day-by-hour grid of attention quality that surfaces your best working hours, weak periods, and recurring patterns at a glance.
Theme detection & daily reflection
Ranks what you actually spent attention on — daily, weekly, monthly — and generates a short AI summary of your day: dominant topic, strongest focus window, and how today compared to yesterday.
Local-only by design
Every classification and score is computed on-device from your own browsing; nothing about what you read, watch, or work on is ever uploaded to get the effect.

Frequently asked
Questions specific to FocusIQ. See the catalog-wide FAQ for account and billing basics.
Does FocusIQ upload my browsing history to a server?
No. Page classification, scoring, the timeline, heatmap, and reflection are all computed on-device from activity stored locally in your browser — only account and subscription state ever reach our servers.
Do I have to tell FocusIQ which sites are productive or not?
No — that’s the point. An on-device AI model reads what a page is actually about and classifies it by meaning (Productivity, Learning, Research, Entertainment, and so on), so there’s no website list to maintain.
Can I exclude sites or pause tracking?
Yes. You can pause monitoring at any time, exclude specific websites, disable tracking in private/incognito windows, set how long history is kept, and delete or export your data whenever you want.
Is there a free tier?
FocusIQ offers a 7-day trial with full access to every feature, then continues as a single Pro plan ($7.99/mo or $69.99/yr) — no separate capped free tier.

A note on accuracy: FocusIQ runs its AI reasoning on-device — nothing is sent to a server to get an answer. On-device AI is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or even correct — summaries, deal judgments, extracted information, substitution suggestions, memos, and detections can be wrong, incomplete, or missed entirely. Treat every AI-generated result as a starting point, not a final answer, and verify anything sensitive, financial, medical, legal, or otherwise high-stakes yourself before acting on it.
